Brooklyn-based creative who sees food as a way to spark conversations, build community, and inspire change.

My Story

Growing up in a family that loved cooking, I found myself scribbling recipes, journaling about flavors, and creating little food zines long before I realized it could become a career.

When I moved to Brooklyn, I was swept up in the vibrancy of vegan culture—the cafés, the street food, the community cookouts. Suddenly, food writing felt like more than just words on a page; it became a way to document an entire movement. Writing became my way of amplifying voices, recipes, and stories that might otherwise be overlooked.

The Turning Point

I had been freelancing on the side, mostly writing lifestyle pieces, when I pitched an article about vegan dining in New York. That piece unexpectedly went viral—it was shared widely, picked up by several outlets, and even led to restaurant features.

That experience opened my eyes to the ripple effect of creative food writing. It wasn’t just about putting words together—it was about inspiring people to take action, explore new flavors, and feel connected to a larger cultural shift.

What I Learned the Hard Way

I struggled with rejection—so many “no’s” before I got a “yes.” There were nights when I questioned whether writing about food could ever really support me.

I learned that niching down—focusing on vegan culture and plant-based storytelling—wasn’t limiting; it was freeing. It gave me clarity, a community, and the confidence to keep showing up.

My Approach Now

Today, I approach writing as more than content—it’s storytelling with a purpose.

I shape my projects with an emphasis on curiosity, cultural depth, and compassion. Instead of just reporting facts, I create work that captures the emotion and energy of food experiences—whether I’m profiling a chef, covering a local event, or building narratives that highlight how plant-based living is reshaping our world.

That’s why my work at vegaeasy.com blends recipes with stories, guides with conversations, and food with the bigger picture of living vegan in today’s world.

What I Believe

  • Food has the power to connect people across cultures and communities
  • Writing should make readers feel engaged and inspired, not just informed
  • Plant-based culture thrives when stories are told authentically

How I Can Help You

I work with plant-based brands, vegan chefs, and wellness professionals who want to bring their stories to life.

If you’re looking for food writing that goes beyond the plate—something that sparks curiosity, invites engagement, and reflects the heart of your brand—you’re in the right place. I share regular content and collaborations at vegaeasy.com, where you’ll also find resources for anyone passionate about vegan living.

A Little More About Me

When I’m not writing, you’ll usually find me exploring Brooklyn’s farmers’ markets, testing new recipes in my tiny kitchen, or discovering hidden vegan gems around the city. I’m a lover of indie coffee shops, street art, and long conversations about food culture.

Travel is another big part of my life—whether it’s sampling vegan tapas in Barcelona or learning plant-based traditions in small towns, I find inspiration everywhere.

Let’s Connect

I love hearing from people who are passionate about food, writing, or both. Whether you’re a brand, a fellow creative, or simply curious about plant-based living, I’d love to connect and share ideas.
